Remembering Michael Three Years Later

Three years ago on June 25th the world lost it's brightest light in the entertainment industry. Michael Jackson passed after an overdose of Propofol.

As the years go by, it's great to celebrate the life of this magical man who brought so much joy to people through his music and dance moves. Michael donated his life to his philanthropy and gave back as much as possible. He leaves behind his three children Prince, Paris, and Blanket who, I'm sure, will follow through on his legacy of wanting to make the world a better place.

Jackson Kids Go To The Movies With Uncle

Michael Jackson's oldest kids, Prince and Paris go to the movie theater with their uncle Jermaine and cousins to see The Lorax. The kids are all smiles as they leave the theater on Sunday March 11. 


After the movie, Paris tweeted, “curled up on the couch with some yummy chamomile tea (: great way to spend my sunday lol”

Michael Jackson Songs Stolen In Massive Hacking Case

Two British men have been arrested in the U.K. over charges that they hacked into Sony Music's archive and illegally downloaded thousands of songs—many of them comprising Sony's prized catalog of Michael Jackson music.

James Marks, 26, and James McCormick, 25, were busted last May and are scheduled to stand trial next January.

Sony confirms the hacking, but would not disclose the number of tracks that were stolen. Reports, however, peg that number to be over 50,000, and sources indicate that Jackson's entire catalog of music may have been compromised.

That's one mighty expensive catalog: In 2010, Sony signed the biggest deal in recording history when it forked over $250 million to Michael Jackson's estate for the rights to his music.

Paris Jackson Defending Her Father on Twitter.

13 year old Paris Jackson, daughter of the late king of pop, took to Twitter to defend the claims that her father used an impersonator on the track Hold My Hand.

"People should know by now not to believe the media when it comes down to TMZ talking about my family," Paris tweeted Wednesday. "#HoldMyHad is my dad actually singing."


She was referring to a claim that she told a friend on video chat it was not her father singing and rather an impersonator. 

Whitney Houston could bring in $10 million after death.

It is not unknown for a celebrity to rake in the cash after their death. Six months after Michael Jackson died in 2009 his estate made close to $30 million worldwide. Recent reports show that Whitney has struggled financially in the past but the sales of her music will improve the condition of her estate. Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina who is 18 will most likely be the main beneficiary. 

Whitney will not come close to the sales after Michael Jackson’s death. Jackson had ownership of all his songs he wrote himself. The most famous Houston hit, “I Will Always Love You” is not owned by Houston’s estate but by the songwriter Dolly Parton. 

Whitney’s greatest hits album will eventually be in Billboards Top 10 chart in the next coming weeks. Already 50,000 were sold in the first two days of Whitney Houston’s death.
